About The Purple House
The Purple House Cafe is a bright purple house at 165 Main Street in Gananoque, steps from the St. Lawrence River and the Thousand Islands. The restaurant describes itself as a small, family-run place serving wood-fired pizza, salads and homemade desserts.
The patio is surrounded by gardens and looks right at the custom wood-fired oven. Ingredients come from local farmers, and this summer Stone Street Organics supplied locally grown produce for the pizzas. Dogs are welcome on the patio.
The Purple House is open seasonally from May to October and does not take reservations. The 2026 season wrapped up on September 27.
